Hey friends!

A few updates for y’all:

1. HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT I WON.
Yup. Write Bloody Publishing, out of twenty finalists, picked ME as one of their new authors. Expect my first full-length BOOK OF POETRY (real book. ISBN number. Cover. Table of Contents. A spine. AGAIN, I SAY HOLY SHIT) in April of 2013.

The giantest THANK YOU to everyone who liked and reblogged and spread the word about my video. I owe part of this to y’all, and am forever grateful.

2. I also graduated from college! You are lookin’ at the newest (and possibly only?) owner of a Bachelor’s of Individualized Studies in English, Social Justice, and Youth Studies. As whirlwind-y of an experience as college was, I am happy to have done it and happy that it’s over.
BUT MILES, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR US?

3. I also relocated to Brooklyn. TAKE THAT LONG DISTANCE! BAH! It’s big. It’s cool. I like it. I need a job and that’s stressful. I am not used to all the big, but I like it so far. I’m teaching myself how to not get motion sick so I can read on subways.

4. My girlfriend, in an effort to get me to watch better TV (Gossip Girl’s not good enough???), has gotten me hooked on Dexter. I just finished the Fourth Season. Be dears and don’t spoil anything for me. Watching TV series way after the fact is funny, cause you have all the feelings about all the characters when everyone else has already processed and coped. ALL THE FEELINGS.
